Beadnell limekilns
Beadnell limekilns
Beadnell has always had an important role as it is the only harbour on this coast that faces west and thus had some protection from the North Sea. Therefore it grew into a productive little port with limekilns adjacent. The building to the left is modern, in the style of the limekilns to the right.
