Electrical substation
Electrical substation
The blue plaque on the wall marks a cooperation between the National Trust for Scotland and the South of Scotland Electricity Board. When the electricity supply to the lower part of the historic town was refurbished, the main transformer was sited inside one of a small row of cottages also undergoing refurbishment. Behind is the Town House and the ochre wash denotes part of the Palace of Culross.
