High Wood
High Wood
High Wood was severely damaged by the 1987 storm, but the chestnut coppice and mature oak standards are now growing well. The part of the wood north of High Woods Lane is served by a network of paths, whilst access to the southern part is formally via the Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk. There are some wonderful spring flowers, including bluebells and wood anemones.
