The south end of Littleport station from the up (London-bound) platform showing the starter signal, the mirror that enables train drivers to see back along the platform, the level crossing and the signal box. The rust-coloured metal girders in front of the crossing gates support the bridge [LinkExternal link] carrying the railway over the road.

Littleport station is on the ex-Great Eastern Rly route from London to Kings Lynn. The route between Cambridge and Kings Lynn is now known as 'The Fen Line' and passenger services are operated by First Capital Connect. The line is electrified on the 25KV AC overhead system and passenger services use electric multiple unit trains of classes 317 and 365.
