SN2152 : Deep cut valley

taken 8 years ago, 4 km from Y Ferwig, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

Deep cut valley
Deep cut valley
The short stream is tiny relative to the size of the steep sided valley it has created. The flow would have been much greater about 15,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age when the glaciers covering much of central Wales were melting.
