Shipwreck in The Wash
The rusted remains of a small boat on salt marsh of The Breast Sand to the west of the island in the Wash between The River Nene and the River Great Ouse outfalls. According to Ben Harris, that well known Wash Geographer, Admiralty chart 1200, "The Wash Ports" shows a wreck (labelled "Target") at 5249′07N, 017′00E (TF5396 2700) which does not quite correspond with this wreck or one which can currently be seen on Google Earth at TF53872 26792
