Pepys Park, Deptford
Pepys Park, Deptford
Pepys Park was named after one of Deptford’s most famous people, Samuel Pepys, who was Secretary to the Admiralty in the reign of Charles II, and did much to reform the Royal Navy, as well as keeping his well known diary from 1660-1669. Pepys Park is the only park in Lewisham, and is a valuable green space in the heavily built up area in the north of the borough. See LinkExternal link.
