TQ5335 : No Entry Gates on the line at Birchden Junction

taken 8 years ago, near to Groombridge, East Sussex, Great Britain

No Entry Gates on the line at Birchden Junction.
No Entry Gates on the line at Birchden Junction.
This is where the line from Tunbridge Wells met the London to Uckfield line. The Tunbridge Wells line was closed in 1985, & as since been taken over by the Spa Valley railway. The gates are to denote there is no link between the two lines even though a physical link still exists.
