Boulders on Tewit How
Boulders on Tewit How
On the flat heathery ridge leading to Tewit How. Tewit relates to Lapwings but they do not seem to frequent the higher fells these days. In the 16th century their eggs were regarded as a delicacy which may explain their absence.
