Sunbathing seal

Taking absolutely no notice of my antics, getting my bicycle out of the car or walking around with my camera, this seal was taking advantage of the warm sun. We thought that it was lying on seaweed-covered rocks, but it turned out that they were harvested bales of seaweed awaiting collection and delivery to the factory L8431. Eventually, as the tide ebbed it slid off into the water and swam out of the harbour without surfacing. Extraordinary.
