Main railway line Inverness to Perth at Dalraddy
Main railway line Inverness to Perth at Dalraddy
This railway line was designed by the great railway and road engineer Joseph Mitchell and opened in 1863. Travelling this line today, seeing the difficult terrain through which they built the railway, does give an enhanced respect for the engineers responsible. The view is looking southward from the bridge on the estate road into Kinrara estate adjacent to Dalraddy caravan park.
