taken 8 years ago, near to Achallader, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Beinn Achaladair
Beinn Achaladair
Steep slopes above alluvial flats and the West Highland Railway upstream of Achallader. The prominent sloping band of crags runs some distance and can also be seen on the slopes of Beinn a' Chreachain. The summit, which through observation of snow tracks is not visited by all that climb the hill is to the right, while the big cairn which is the usual target of visitors is far left, above the prow of the northwest ridge. That cairn is a very fine viewpoint.
