Proof that large raptors now inhabit the South Essex London borders. I was alerted to the drama by the alarm call of a Green Woodpecker beating a hasty retreat into the cover of the trees. A couple of crows started mobbing the buzzard twisting and turning in an amazing aerobatic display. Here the tables are turned somewhat! I only wish I had been a hundred yards closer with my auto focus turned off, the shutter steadfastly refused to fire for what would have been a couple of enthralling shots!
