Abbey Road NW8 (1)
Junction of Grove End Road and Abbey Road. This is a frequently photographed pedestrian crossing, due to the attentions of Beatles fans. It was featured on the cover of their Abbey Road LP. Note the distinctive stride of the man crossing the road -- he is mimicking the stide that The Beatles used in the picture. The EMI recording studios are on the left of the crossing. In the foreground, the monument is in memory of Edward Onslow Ford, a 19th century sculptor.
