Richmond Upon Thames - Kew Gardens
Richmond Upon Thames - Kew Gardens
Inside the water lily house which was built in 1852 to house giant Amazonian water lilies, however the plants did not do well and it was converted into a normal glass house in 1866 until 1991 when new heating allowed it to be converted back to its original use. It might be of interest to know that the water in here is dyed black to give contrast to the lilies.
