taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Dodburn, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Penchrise - Shankend road
Penchrise - Shankend road
Probably a military road serving the Stobs Camp and training area. A sharp descent and bend crossing the Penchrise Burn. The track is quite ridable but wet from Shankend, and is a scenic walk. The land is mostly grazed by cattle. A reverse view can be seen here: NT4906 : Penchrise Burn
