SH2279 : What, why, who, how?

3 km from Trearddur, Isle of Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Great Britain

What, why, who, how?
What, why, who, how?
That's what I thought when I saw this amazing construction on this remote part of the coast on Anglesey.
Some research has given me the answer:
Joe McCormack, a diver found a small piece of copper that might be from
the wreck of one of several relief vessels sent by Louis XV of France, to Bonnie Prince Charlie,
in the aftermath of his defeat at the 1745 Battle of Culloden. LinkExternal link
This scaffolding was then built to enable more diving on the wreck.
