Wild Cabbage - Winspit
Wild Cabbage - Winspit
Brassica oleracea or brassica sylvestris?
Wild cabbage grows along the cliffs in southern England and Wales. It has fewer leaves than the usual cabbages we generally eat and its stems are covered with pale yellow four-petalled flowers. This specimen was growing near the entrance to the old quarry and has been eaten by some pest judging by the holes in its leaves.
