NT5102 : Catrail

taken 8 years ago, near to Catrail [antiquity (non-Roman)], Scottish Borders, Great Britain

This is 1 of 2 images, with title Catrail in this square
The ride beside the Catrail, an ancient long earthwork. The earthwork cannot be easily seen here, it is low and the grass high, but was visible in the opposite direction. It is quite prominent in other parts of its length. It is believed to be a frontier mark of some sort.
