Am Bile
Am Bile
In the mid ground is an exposure of almost horizontal Jurassic sediments, part of the layer that underlies the more recent basaltic plateau lavas that make up most of north Skye. The basalt crags of Creag Mhor tower beyond, with their steep talus slopes falling to the Sound of Raasay.
