Decorative bricks in wall
Decorative bricks in wall
The cottage was built in 1923 on the site of the then Surlingham brickyard. It was adjoined by several kilns on the river side. The timberframed walls are decorated with broken bricks found at the bottom of the kilns. For a wider view taken several months ago see > LinkExternal link.
