Sack truck
Sack truck
An interesting piece of equipment for moving sacks of grain and flour. It was common practise for these sacks to weigh 2 cwts. As well as being a conventional wheeled truck, it could, by turning the shaft at the top, lift the sack to a height where it could be carried on the mill workers backs
