NG3767 : The Granary

taken 9 years ago, near to Scuddaborg, Highland, Great Britain

The Granary
The Granary
The Granary is now converted to a holiday home. Head east 250 metres and you will come upon the Clan Macdonald house which was constructed mostly from the ruin of Duntolm Castle, the seat of the Clan Macdonald. You can look to the north from Clan Macdonald house and the castle ruin can be seen in the distance.
If you look toward the ruin of the castle from the house you are looking over reclaimed land which was Loch Columba which the Macdonalds drained to get more land for crops.
