NT3496 : Court Cave

Court Cave
Court Cave
A brick pillar keeps up the ceiling in a former sea cave. The Wemyss caves are famed for rock carvings, but are often in a precarious state. I saw evidence of fires, a worry as there have been two fatal accidents in Shropshire in recent years where the heat from fires has precipitated a rock fall in sandstone caves.
