Elsecar Reservoir
Elsecar Reservoir
The outflow at the level of the reservoir. It is well below the top of the dam, and the water level has probably been deliberately lowered because the dam has been weakened by mining subsidence. The reservoir was constructed to hold feedwater for the Dearne and Dove Canal.
