See also SX7479 : Hound Tor, taken in 2008. When comparing Derek Harper's image, taken six years after mine, I first thought that the notorious bracken had spread profusely. However, it appears that my photograph was taken slightly further up the slopes of the tor, using a different focal length on the camera's lens.
