TQ9744 : Hothfield 'Waterfall'

Hothfield 'Waterfall'
Hothfield 'Waterfall'
Once something of a local beauty spot (postcards were printed in the early 1900s); now a tad neglected. The artificial lake has a sluice which allows it to drain into the 'Pig's Brook' which is part of the Great Stour catchment. Good for flora and fauna, but you might drive past and miss it and wonder why the road is called 'Waterfall Road'.
