TQ6747 : Former Stable Block at the Hop Farm, Beltring

Former Stable Block at the Hop Farm, Beltring
Former Stable Block at the Hop Farm, Beltring
This building was original constructed as a stable block for shire horses. As the hop farm has become more commercialised the shire horses have made way for children's entertainment.

Astonishingly six cowls were built at the top of the building, making a mockery out of the existing Grade II* listed oast houses they sit beside, and confusing anyone with a lesser knowledge as to why they are there.
