Cwm Haffes
Cwm Haffes
This is one of the main rivers flowing off the Old Red Sandstone of the Black Mountain. Many thousands of years ago it sank into the limestone upstream of here, forming parts of Dan yr Ogof cave on its route back to the surface, but since then it has been captured along its present surface route.
