Castle Sween
Castle Sween
My ancestral home! Reputedly built in the late 12th Century by Suibhne, son of Dunslebh, ancestor of the Clan MacSween, who in turn left Scotland for Donegal in Ireland and became the Clan Sweeney. Also believed to be one of the oldest, if not the oldest, stone-built castles in Scotland.
