Ox Pasture
Ox Pasture
The name of the field according to the 1839 tithe map and still called that today by the current owners, Plumpton College. A common field name that prior to mechanisation would have provided the home for the team of oxen used to pull the ploughs and the cars of the farmer. Now used by horses.
