River Arun near Arundel

I took TQ0207 : River Arun at Arundel and a little egret from this spot to quickly capture the view of the bird flying over the river. This is a more composed shot of the Arun from the same location, engaged in its vast but surprisingly consistent right-angled meanders, each straight section of about five hundred to a thousand metres being followed by a sharp turn, making the river appear as a series of large "S" shapes on the map.
