Site of Bachelor Wood
Site of Bachelor Wood
The wood once stretched between Station Road and the bridleway that links Upper Streat Green to St Helena Lane. Marked as such on the 1839 tithe map it appears to have been grubbed up by the time of the OS maps of the 1870s. The remnant of the wood is at the end of field.
