SE1321 : Back Brade footpath

Back Brade footpath
Back Brade footpath
The owner of the farm said that this flagged footpath was laid in the 1920s. It is however roughly on the line of the ancient footpath, whereas the right-of-way on the OS map perversely goes through the farmyard. In fact the farmyard did not exist in 1850, and the land it is on was part of a quarry.
