SO2732 : Ancient way up Hatterall Hill
near to Capel-y-Ffin, Powys, Great Britain

Ancient way up Hatterall Hill
One of the typical ways up the steep side of the hill, this one has enough walkers using it for the mound to be clear of bracken but the side ditch is not clear. There's enough stone on the mound to suggest there was once a wall built here.
This way comes up from the old house at Olchon Court and next to the court are some archeological finds which suggest an ancient settlement was there. I guess that this path was made in prehistoric days.
