Taken from the car park at Longdown Hill, this track leads into Pulpit Wood which was bought by The National Trust in 1984. It comprises 65 acres (26.3 ha) of typical Chiltern beech woodland in a prominent position on the Chiltern scarp and has fine views over the Aylesbury vale. The wood includes a prehistoric hill-fort, which is a scheduled ancient monument. Its postcode for sat-nav purposes is HP27 0NB.
