From the viewpoint above the hairpin bends (gradient 25%) this shows the Towey valley looking straight at the farm buildings of Nantyrhwch. The Tregaron to Abergwesyn mountain road (a former cattle drovers' route) is on the left, but the new forestry type road to Dolgoch Hostel is wider on the right. The river meanders between the roads.
