This stretch of the path is just south-east of Charlbury. From here, the path goes east towards Stonesfield or north-west to Charlbury, where it runs along road through the town then diverges, with one path going south of the Evenlode river SP3219 : Bridleway near Shorthampton and the other going north SP3420 : Gate in hedge near Charlbury.
