SX6365 : Withered grass on stone row

taken 9 years ago, near to Erme Pound [antiquity (non-Roman)], Devon, Great Britain

Withered grass on stone row
Withered grass on stone row
After a wet summer, it has been very dry on the moor for the last month or so. As a result, grasses and other plants which have flourished around these stones on the Upper Erme stone row (also shown further north in SX6366 : Upper Erme stone row) have withered on what is obviously a locally parched habitat.
