The cloister at Beaulieu Abbey
The cloister at Beaulieu Abbey
Little is left of the Cistercian abbey at Beaulieu following its dissolution by Henry VIII. The walls of the cloister remain, as seen here, and a selection of the herbs that would have been used by the monks have been planted in borders around the quad.
