Bridges across the Camddwr, Ceredigion
On the road from Nantymaen to Soar-y-Mynydd, this low Irish Bridge* (and its accompanying higher footbridge) probably replaced a former ford across the Afon Camddwr, which can be fierce and deep here after prolonged heavy rain.

* Concrete on top of pipe culverts allow water through in normal conditions, but allowing water over freely in time of flood, with a minimal risk of the bridge being washed away.
