All Saints, East India Dock Road
All Saints, East India Dock Road
By one Charles Hollis, whom Colvin describes as a "competent yet unremarkable" architect, in 1820-23. It is built of Portland stone with an old-fashioned tower and a Greek Ionic portico based on the Athenian temple on the Ilissus (Pevsner). Grade II listed.
The clergy appear to travel in style in this neck of the woods.
