World War 2 air raid bunker
This square has quite a few military relics still clearly visible - if you know what to look for and where to look. This is the entrance to a World War 2 air raid bunker - still complete both above and below ground but showing signs of massive subsidence at the entrance where trees have subsequently grown, pushed against the walls and now extremely dangerous to enter.
There was another example, far more overgrown not too far away - these were here because, during the Second World War, nearby fields served as an airfield.
There is also a more recent cold war nuclear bunker (also now abandoned of similar size and dimensions) within the square.
