SE6978 : East Ness Bridge

taken 8 years ago, near to East Ness, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

East Ness Bridge
East Ness Bridge
The bridge actually has three arches, 2 smaller ones either side of the main arch, but due to vegetation it was impossible to see them. It looks to be either 18th-19thC in construction and may well have been built by the Castle Howard Estate as they owned all the land around here.
