Deer caught on a fence
Deer caught on a fence
Unfortunately sometimes when a deer tries to jump a fence one of its trailing legs is just too low. If there are two strands of wire these can twist round and trap the deer. While the animal needs to be released from the fence it should be taken to a wildlife hospital otherwise its wounds, although looking superficial, may prove fatal.
