NT1455 : Mount Maw

taken 8 years ago, near to Carlops, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Mount Maw
Mount Maw
One of the higher Pentland summits, situated above Carlops and Baddinsgill Reservoir. The slopes are gentle and this is a fine objective for a short hillwalk. There is a decaying triangulation pillar at the summit. The hills here are grazed by sheep and cattle.
