Thames and Severn Canal, east of South Cerney
Thames and Severn Canal, east of South Cerney
This is part of the canal which opened in 1789 and closed in 1933. There are plans to restore the canal to full navigation but, as with all such projects, they may take some time to come to fruition. In the meantime the old towpath provides a pleasant walk.
