The one-legged walker seen here on the Union Canal towpath is a GP, Dr Bob Grant, who was 'hopping' all across Scotland with a party of friends and supporters. He started from Bowling on the Clyde, proceeded to Edinburgh and then on to Kirkcaldy via the Forth and Clyde Canal, the Union Canal and the Forth Road Brdge, raising money for Maggie's Centres.
