Danebower Colliery
Danebower Colliery
The chimney is described in LinkExternal link . The lower part of the path of the flue up the hillside is shown by the slightly greener strip, where there are also some of the flat stone slabs with which the flue was roofed. The large stone blocks at the bottom were part of the bed of the winding engine for a shaft.
