Beach defences at Lydney harbour
Beach defences at Lydney harbour
In the 1950's a large number of redundant Severn Trow's were beached along the river bank and filled with stones to protect the shoreline from severe erosion. The decaying carcasses of these once proud vessels can still be seen.
